Terms of sale and use

These terms cover the Goldfinch app and licenses for it, sold by Relay Capital (“we”). By installing Goldfinch or buying a license you agree to them.

The license

• A license lets one person, or one business, use Goldfinch on up to 2 Macs at a time.
• It's a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Updates are free.
• You can move a license between Macs (up to 3 moves in 30 days; ask if you need more).
• Don't share, resell or publish license keys, or work around the licensing.
• Press, review and complimentary licenses are personal and not for resale.

The free trial

The trial is the full app; the first 20 exported photos are free. After that, exporting needs a license.

Your photos and edits

Your photos and edits are yours. Goldfinch never writes to your RAW files. Still, keep backups: we aren't liable for lost or damaged files.

Claude and other services

Goldfinch can work with Claude, which is provided by Anthropic under its own terms, and with other AI apps that support MCP, which their makers provide under theirs. We don't control those apps or what they do with your requests.

Refund policy

If Goldfinch isn't right for you, email hello@usegoldfinch.com within 30 days of buying, from the address you bought with or with your license key, and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.

A refunded license is turned off: Goldfinch goes back to the trial on every Mac using it the next time it checks in. The same happens if a payment is disputed or reversed with your bank.

This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law where you live.

Warranty and liability

Goldfinch is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs or suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. Changes won't take away a license you've already bought.
